Information clause - Article 13 RODO

Pursuant to Article 13 (1) and (2) of the General Data Protection Regulation of April 27, 2016. (RODO) I inform you that:

The controller of your personal data is specialist translator and East expert Karolina Zub-Lewinska.

The Administrator processes personal data in the scope of:

performance of translation services. The processing of personal data, both yours and those of third parties contained in the documents to be translated, is necessary for the performance of the contract, although their provision is voluntary. Personal data contained in translated documents (in the form of documents/translations) and email correspondence will be stored for one year from the date of receipt of the translation. The legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interest of the administrator. Categories of personal data include, but are not limited to, name, phone number, email address, address, data dedicated to the translation process.
maintenance of accounting records. If you wish to receive an invoice, you will be required to provide additional data necessary for its issuance, and resulting from tax regulations imposing such an obligation on you. This data will be kept for the period resulting from the aforementioned regulations (currently 5 years).
translator’s professional development. Files, photos or scans of certain documents (in the output and target language) may be stored indefinitely for the purpose of professional development of the translator and building a knowledge base (translation templates, translator memory). In this case, efforts will be made to anonymize them. The legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interests of the administrator.

Your data will not be shared with any third parties for marketing purposes. Sharing of your personal data with other translators or translation agencies for the purpose of cooperation on translation will only take place with your prior consent. In this case, all your data will be deleted by us, and the information and data protection obligations will be transferred to the third party concerned (another translator or translation agency, of which you will be informed). Failure to request such consent means that only the above-mentioned administrator has access to your personal data.

Your data will not be processed by automated means, including profiling.

You have the right to request from the administrator:

access to the data concerning you,
to provide you with a copy of the data subject to processing,
rectification of such data,
deletion of the data or restriction of its processing to storage, which the controller is obliged to do only if certain circumstances described in the data protection regulations apply.

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of those of your data, the provision of which was voluntary, but the granting of this objection may result in the inability to perform the contract and produce the translation.

You have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority.
